David and I have had the privilege of serving on the team here at Ellel Ministries, Pierrepont since August of 2014. Full-time in the ministry office, David has spent countless hours praying with people, walking alongside others, administrating appointments, overseeing workshops and ministry, computing and programming (IT needs never cease to exist, do they??), mentoring, training, teaching, etc. I have been home-schooling in the mornings and working part-time in the afternoons.
I work in the NETS Office, which is always hopping and never boring! :-) PowerPoint and I have become well acquainted, as my “main” job is to assist teachers and trainees by working on notes and presentations. We love to watch God at work in the lives of the many people who come through our doors. I occasionally teach, and I also do prayer ministry when time permits. Along with our work in Surrey, David and I had the opportunity to go on mission to South Africa. David also went to the Netherlands to help teach and minister on a weekend course. David and I occasionally have the opportunity to minister together here at Pierrepont. Just recently, we assisted in a teaching on forgiveness by representing fathers/mothers/husbands/wives. It was beautiful to wait upon the Lord for His words to say to those attending. What an honor…

This is Jocelyn’s Quiver group. She’s had an intensive year of discipleship with this incredible bunch from all over the world.
This unique chapter in our lives is coming to an end. England, with its brilliant greens, mossy roofs, and separate hot and cold taps, has become home to our family, so we make this announcement a bit heavy-hearted. We have been blessed indeed! Needless to say, our family has grown, learned, and experienced so very much. We’ve had to learn to lean into our Father as we counsel the many, many broken people who find themselves coming up our drive. We’ve had to learn to release as well, and this lesson is now being tested in all seven of us. We will be heading to the States at the end of July. We wanted to send this out as an official announcement, and also to ask for PRAYER!! God is good and He knows this is the exact right time for all of us!! :-)

Our crazy kids!
1) We are trusting God to reveal His plan for this next season in our life. This is an excitingly scary place to be in! We know assuredly that He is moving us along, but it’s a bit like the Abraham in Ur thing… pack your bags and go… and exercise faith along the way! We know He’s actually gone before us and is preparing a place for us, but the unknown factor is… well… unknown! :-)
2) Please pray for our travel plans. Moving 7 people (and we’d like to bring more than a suitcase each) over the Atlantic in July is not a cheap venture.
3) We need a Landing Plan – let’s actually name it Operation Seven Cannons (OSC). OSC defaults to Greenville, South Carolina unless otherwise Instructed from Above. OSC needs to include a temporary place to dwell while we seek the Lord, work for David, a school plan, and a vehicle or two. :-) All just details, and I find a serious amount of comfort in His Word:
Matthew 6:31-33
“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”

Quintessential England
4) Our children are such troopers! Please help us cover them in prayer. Jocelyn is trusting God to make a way for her to visit and serve a ministry in India for the month of November. Kimry will be starting her senior year soon after we arrive in the States, and I’m certain God has a precious plan in this timing. Wesley will begin high school! Who can believe it?? Elise will be in 7th grade. Abby will be turning 10 in August.
We love you all, and we cherish your prayers as we launch into what God has for us next.

I’m so thankful that the Lord has saved our trip until this June to be with you guys. The beautiful picture with the rainbow is such a sweet promise to us all and I can’t wait to see those brilliant greens, mossy roofs, and sweet Cannon faces! Love you so much and will be praying for you guys in this transition time.
Know that we love you and are praying for your transition. Please let me know how I can help. In addition to being your friend, you know how much I love my Cannon students. It’s been a joy to work with your students over the years. Love you! Karla
Excited & Praying for all your needs & next steps❣
I am praying for you & all the challenges before you. I praise The Lord for your spirit of gratitude & faith in Him! > Dad/Grandpa Cannon
Wow how exciting, God is so totally your all sufficient one. He has it already sorted out all those practical things, you will be blown away how he does it. I love the gorgeous rainbow the reminder it brings with it and of course England wouldn’t be England without a picture with an umbrella in it! It has been my privilege to get to know the Cannon family and watch you all grow in the Lord and the younger 3 physically getting taller etc. You have impacted many many lives over your time there you will be missed greatly. But when God says go, you go, so be Blessed as you step out in faith knowing that the Lord has gone before you preparing the way. Might see you in Greenville SC one day.
Lotz of Love and of course lifting you in prayer
Lois
We are so happy that all 7 of you will be in Greenville again soon and we look forward to seeing you and hearing all about your adventures since we last talked. Know that our thoughts and prayers will be there with all of you as you prepare to leave Surrey. Look forward to seeing you and all the kids (who are not kids anymore) after you arrive and get settled in. With lots of love….
I will make it a point to remember your family in my prayers. I know my son Sam treasured his friendship with Wesley at MZCS and would love to here from him. God bless.
